As an established design firm of over 30 years, the team at Designing Women Inc. is equipped to work on a project of any scale. Services provided through Designing Women include but are not limited to, layouts with space planning, kitchen and bath design, color or wallcovering consultations, light placement and selections, exterior living design, and art and accessory selection and placements.

Designing Women, Inc. of Hickory, North Carolina helps make the home a place where laughs are shared, dinner is served, and memories are made in an environment suited for each unique client. Projects are made exclusive to individual lifestyles through a design process that’s both personal and enjoyable.
For over 30 years, Designing Women has delivered premium design services to clients from across the globe, working on houses of every style, with flexibility for every budget. The team can communicate in languages including Farsi, Spanish, Arabic, and French. Located in the Hickory Furniture Mart, clients have access to luxurious and quality products that are only found in this southern region of the country.
Services range from total home renovation to seasonal decorating, with other specialty services available and easily accommodated. Whether you’re interested in decorating one room or an entire household, let Designing Women personally guide you through the process.

Having shopped in Hickory for over 30 years, I am so grateful I finally found Designing Women. We had a very large order, furnishing multiple homes and I cannot praise Donna, Sally and Becky enough.
Since 2020 and all the back logs in ports, manufacturers etc it has made buying furniture an absolute ordeal. Donna kept track of, and stayed on top of calling vendors and doing everything possible to fight the supply chain issues. They kept track of almost over 1000 items, packing and shipping internationally over the course of the worst year in the furniture business during the pandemic.
We are so grateful Donna and team were taking care of all our orders, there are not words to explain how complex and arduous a job it was. Now that everything is installed, we could not be happier- I only wish Donna and Sally could hear the out pouring of compliments when people visit our home.
